-Keep a well-stocked home pharmacy- ailment relief and preventative treatments
-Every household should have important staples like pain relievers, decongestant rubs and lozenges
-Keep band-aids, antibiotic creams and bandages soothing lotions on hand
-Make sure you are up-to-date with your regular doctors' visits
-Be sure to be proactive in keeping healthy, and don't delay in seeking treatment
-Doctors and pharmacists are there to help answer questions. Know when to seek their advice
-If possible, stay home when you are sick! It cuts recovery time and helps you not infect others
