Living with chronic pain can be debilitating. Sometimes medication can help alleviate some of the pain, or provide temporary relief, however the pain never really goes away, so management it and trying to live a somewhat normal life can be a challenge if not impossible for some. Alternative treatments may be a viable options for those living with chronic pain. Acupuncture, meditation, yoga, massage therapies, there are many options that could work in conjunction with a pain medication therapy.
Loolwa Khazzom knows this all too well. After a decade of dealing with chronic pain after a series of car accidents, Loolwa went outside the traditional medical establishment in seek of some type of way to manager her pain and gain her life back.
