The Jesuit High School Robotics team blew away the competition in June at the 2011 Marine Advanced Technology Education or MATE, International ROV competition and won first place.
The seventeen manned team, competed against teams that ranged from high school to the university level and also included community based organizations. There were teams representing 24 states and eight countries, however the Jesuit High School Robotics team was undaunted in their quest to bring home top honors.
Four members of the team showed off their winning creation to host Guy Farris along with their prestigious and very shiny trophy.
