Animal Care Partners of Sacramento and the ASPCA are offering FREE cat spay/neuter surgeries for low income residents.

There are a limited number of appointments available, so call today so you can do your part to prevent a large kitty season.

Kitten season runs from March to as late as November depending on weather.  Many of the local shelters houses and takes care of as many kittens as space permits, but even with all the pet-friendly organizations banding together and working as a team, the sad truth is many kittens will have their tiny lives cut short due to being separated from their mother too early, exposure to diseases from other cats and kittens, being exposed to the elements and having their core body temperature drop too low before being found, etc. It is not desirable or natural for infants of any species to be separated from their mothers and grow up in small cages!

This needless suffering can be ended if we just spay and neuter our pets, and ideally widen the net if we can to include strays and ferals on our properties.
