Vigil held for teen found dead in Allan Witt Park in Fairfield.
FAIRFIELD, Calif. - Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a 13-year-old Suisun City girl whose naked body was discovered in a Fairfield park on Friday.
Police remained tight-lipped about the investigation Monday night, but friends identified the victim as Genelle, a student at Green Valley Middle School.
Genelle's naked body was discovered in Allan Witt Park by a passerby on the morning of Friday, Feb. 1.
Officer Cleo Mayoral of the Fairfield Police Dept. said no suspect information had been released, but detectives were canvassing neighborhoods and checking video from surveillance cameras in the area as part of the ongoing investigation.

The agency responsible for the Suisun City foster child's well being released this statement saying:
"Our thoughts and prayers are with anyone who knew this young lady and we will certainly cooperate in any way we can to find those responsible."
Friends said a candlelight vigil for the Genelle would be held on Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Alan Witt Park.
