NEW ORLEANS, LA - After an eighteen year absence from the Super Bowl, 49ers legend Jerry Rice likes the swagger of this new look Niners team.
"There is a tradition with the San Francisco 49ers, but these guys are paving their own way," Rice told News10. "I can't believe it has been 18 years, but at least we have chance to win that trophy again."
Rice gave credit to the team's confidence by taking on the personality of Head Coach Jim Harbaugh.
"They are playing with alot of swagger," said Rice. "This team is really composed, being down 17 points to Atlanta they did not panic and they got right back in the ball game and win a title game and they really deserve to be here."
