ROSEVILLE, CA - A US bank branch in a Roseville Safeway was robbed Tuesday afternoon and police have released bank security camera photos of the alleged robber.
The robbery was in the Safeway at 989 Sunrise Avenue.
The crime was committed at about 12:45 p.m. A man walked up to the bank teller, gave him a demand note and left with un undisclosed amount of cash, according to Roseville police Det. Sgt. Darin DeFreece.
Camera images show a man described as white, in his mid to late 20s with a scruffy appearance. He was wearing large winter gloves.
The teller reported the man didn't display a weapon.
A blue, mid 1990s Chevrolet Suburban was seen leaving the store parking lot right after the robbery and may be connected to it.
