18 year old identified in Stockton drive-by shooting

STOCKTON. CA - Police were investigating a drive-by shooting in which an 18-year-old man became Stockton's 69th homicide victim Sunday night. 

According to Officer Joe Silva with the Stockton Police Department, officers were called to the 2600 block of S. Lincoln Street at 5:12 p.m. and found the victim at the scene with a gunshot wound to the head.

He was identified Monday as Bernardo Gutierrez. 

Silva said police had no information on the shooter. Homicide investigators were continuing to research the case.
