RANCHO CORDOVA, CA - Sheriff detectives want to talk to the person who called for medical attention to a man discovered in front of a Rancho Cordova pet hospital Monday evening with extensive injuries.
The victim was found with trauma to his upper body and head outside of the Cordova Pet Clinic on the 2800 block of La Loma Drive, according to Sgt. Jason Ramos with the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.
Responding firefighter/paramedics pronounced the man dead.
It was not clear how the man died nor why.
Ramos said there was a bicycle next to the victim.
Sacramento Metro Fire dispatchers received a call around 8 p.m. about the man. Sheriff's investigators hope that person will come forward so they can ask if the person has any additional information about the victim.
The victim's name will not be released until his relatives are notified.
