SACRAMENTO -  For many of us, the shopping chaos of Gray Thursday and Black Friday was too much to bear. And that's OK because there are some even better deals that you can find online for 'Cyber Monday'.

A $1498 Samsung 55-inch LED Smart 3D HDTV from Walmart, $800 Maytag washer/dryer set from Sears, and a $499 Bowflex home gym are just some of the blockbusters online shoppers can expect to find.

If you're in the market for jewelry, Kmart is slashing the price of diamond earrings online by 75 percent.

How about something more specific to the Northern Californian?  Spending $80 online will get you 12 wines and an electric opener.  Normally that package goes for about $170.  Or maybe some relaxation is in order for you after a hectic weekend of dealing with family.  The Sonoma Outdoors Hammock combo kit dropped its price from $280 to $80 for Cyber Monday.

Most of the major retailers are going to offer special deals every hour on something that's unique, distinctive, or considered to be a huge bargain. According to the National Retail Federation, a record 85 percent of online retailers will offer special promotions on Cyber Monday. And about four out of ten will offer free shipping. That's up 13 percent from last year.

Cyber Monday could set a new e-commerce record with sales expected to hit $1.5 billion -- a 25-percent jump from last year.

In terms of how people are accessing the internet for the sales today, 'CNN Money's' Laurie Segall says technology is changing everything.

"The origins, it used to be we got to work on Monday, right after Thanksgiving, right after the holiday, we actually had access to broadband, to high speed internet and that's where the deals were, and now that's completely changed." Said Segall.

Mobile devices are allowing shoppers to shop online from pretty much anywhere, so, just like 'Grey Thursday', some retailers started their deals early.
