ELK GROVE, CA - The 25th annual Dickens Street Faire kicked-off on Saturday entertaining thousands.
Each year, the Old Town Elk Grove Foundation hosts the event located on Elk Grove Blvd. featuring rides, vendors and live entertainment.
The event extends from 5:30 a.m. until around 9 p.m. ending with the parade of lights and the lighting ceremony.
After the day's festivities, a seasonal Ice Rink will open on Sunday morning, marking a first for the Faire.
