STOCKTON, CA - An 18-year-old man has been taken into custody for a double murder at the Village East Apartments on E. Marsh Street near Burkett Avenue Oct. 22, say police.

U.S. Marshalls located suspect Ramiro Terrazas on the 4900 block of Kentfield Road Wednesday and was turned over to detectives investigating the fatal shootings of Marcos Garcia, 23, and Terri McCoy, 31, said Stockton police Officer Joe Silva.

Terrazas was found to have a loaded semi-automatic handgun in his possession, Silva said.

Both Garcia and Terrazas were described as gang members, Silva said. McCoy was a parolee. Why Garcia and McCOy were shot wasn't clear.

Terrazas faces murder, weapon and gang charges, according to Silva.
