YUBA CITY, CA - A second man has been arrested in connection to a large fight that left two people stabbed at the Tierra Buena Sikh Temple in Yuba City Nov. 10.
The Sutter County Sheriff's Department said Parminder Kooner, 47, surrendered Monday. He was booked into Sutter County Jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and violation of probation, according to sheriff's Sgt. David Whiteaker.
Last week, Mangal Singh Sanghera, 43, of Yuba City, was arrested and booked into jail on the same charges.
According to the sheriff's department, between 50 and 100 individuals were involved in the brawl at the temple on the 2400 block of Tierra Buena Road that Saturday evening. The participants were fighting with sticks. Two men were stabbed. Their conditions were not known.
