FAIRFIELD, CA - Two employees of a Fairfield jewelry store were held at gunpoint and restrained while three robbers stole merchandise from several display cabinets, say police.

The robbery was at Nan Den Jewelry on the 3000 block of North Texas Street at approximately 9:18 Friday morning just before the store opened for business, said Det. Sgt. Kevin Carella.

The robbers ran off on foot southbound through the Geri Towne Mall where Nan Dan Jewelry is located.

The employees were not hurt.

The victims described the robbers as adult men, black, and wearing hooded jackets and jeans. One of the men concealed his face behind a green mask.

Police were told about a maroon-colored panel van seen in the shopping center parking lot just before the robbery that may be connected to the robbers, Carella said.
