CERES, CA - A Ceres man allegedly deliberately drove his vehicle into his wife's car with their two children inside her car Sunday night, according to Ceres police.

Refugio Diaz, 30, was booked into Stanislaus County Jail on assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence, child endangerment and false imprisonment charges in the 10:02 p.m. incident, said Sgt. Jose Berber.

According to Berber, Diaz' wife arrived at their home on the 1500 block of Belmont to find her husband in his car with another woman. There was an argument and as the wife got into her car and tried to drive away with the couple's 3 and 5 year olds, Diaz rammed her car.

No one was injured.
