VACAVILLE, CA - After more than two hours, crews were able to contain a by a 50-acre vegetation fire in Vacaville Thursday night.
The fire started at 7:45 p.m. along Pleasants Valley Road and Cherry Glen Road and threatened multiple homes.

Fire crews said the wind pushed the flames toward homes.
Multiple agencies, including Cal Fire and Vacaville Fire Protection District, responded to the scene of the fire; they contained the fire at 50 acres around 10 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is unclear.
