PATTERSON, CA - An investigation was initiated early Saturday morning after the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office was notified that two people were found deceased in Del Puerto Canyon.
Sergeant Anthony Bejaran said that emergency crews responded to a medical call at 6:49 A.M and called the sheriff's office when they found the bodies on the shoulder of the roadway.
Bejaran said that the victims were two hispanic males and that they were found bound and shot. The investigation will continue through the weekend to determine the motive and the events leading up to the crime.
The roadway was closed to the public and was only open for emergency vehicles while the investigation was underway but it was reopened Saturday afternoon.
