STOCKTON, CA - Stockton has become a must place to visit for national and international television news crews.  The latest group to report on Stockton's bankruptcy was the Bret Baier program on Fox News.

Baier explored the many reasons for Stockton being so broke. The city hopes to have its huge bills excused by a bankruptcy judge.

Earlier this week, it was a Polish broadcast crew visiting Stockton to report on the bankruptcy. At the beginning of the month, German journalists made the trip.

It's not unusual for the visiting journalists to request interviews with Chamber of Commerce CEO Douglass Wilhoit.  However, because he doesn't like the "tone" of the reports, Wilhoit says no thanks.

"Been asked by the outside media, but I won't talk to them.  They won't show the entire picture of Stockton. Just negative and not the positive," said Wilhoit.

The backdrop for Fox's broadcast Tuesday was the city's sparkling and costly downtown arena.
