STOCKTON, CA - Stockton police officers have arrested a second person in connection with a murder outside the Evviva Lounge near the city's Miracle Mile shopping district.
Rocky Riberal, 44, is in custody, along with his son Brandon, 18, who appeared in court on murder and other charges Tuesday.
Police said two groups of people with gang connections were in an altercation inside the lounge late last Friday, when they were told to leave.
A short time later, outside the lounge, gunfire killed 29-year-old Eric Valverde.
Police said the older Riberal is accused of being an accessory to murder; the younger Riberal is being held on bail of $5 million.
