Ingredients
8 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced or 32 ounces frozen peaches
1 bottle Lodi red Zinfandel
1 cup sugar
Vanilla ice cream
Whip cream
Ground nuts (almonds, walnuts)
Directions
Put the peaches, sugar and Zinfandel in a pot over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Cook covered for 20 minutes. Remove the peaches and continue cooking the Zinfandel until it is reduced to half. Spoon the sauce and peaches over ice cream. Add whip cream and nuts. |
