Ingredients
1 pound mafaldine pasta (can use tagliatelle as well)
Salt (to make water taste salty)
4 cloves garlic
1/3 cup olive oil
1 bunch Italian parsley
4 oz. White wine
1 pound mussels
1/2 pound clams
1/4 pound shrimp
1/4 pound calamari
2 cups tomato sauce
2 fresh tomatoes, chopped
8 fresh basil leaves
Pinch of chile flakes
Directions
Drop pasta in salted boiling water and stir with a fork
While pasta cooks (about 8 minutes), add the garlic to the oil and a
little parsley and saute until the garlic begins to brown. (2 minutes).
Add the wine, mussels, and clams. Cover, cooking for about 4 minutes
or until the seafood opens.
Add shrimp, calamari, tomato sauce, tomatoes, basil and cook for 2 to 3 more
minutes.
Drain the pasta and toss in the sauce.
Garnish with more parsley and sprinkle with olive oil.
