Self-esteem is important for all kids to have, but is especially vital for girls. Low self esteem in girls can impact academic achievement and goals, relationships in adulthood and career aspirations. Luckily there are organization like the Girls Self-Esteem Program (G-SEP) that works to help girls through confidence building workshops, classes and mentoring.
