It's a versatile fruit that make a great dip or addition to any dish! It's avocado season and if you've ever wondered what delectable and delicious meals can be made with avocados, then this month, you find a variety of ideas courtesy of the California Avocado Commission.

How to Cut a California Avocado|
- Wash before cutting
- Cut in half length-wise
- Rotate a 1/4 turn and 
  cut around the seed
- Separate and remove seed.
- Start at the tip and peel  each segment.

 

How to store a California Avocado
- Ripe, uncut fruit can be refrigerated 2 - 3 days

- Cut Fruit: 
   lemon, lime, white   vinegar, air-tight  container

- Puree Avocado and
  Freeze 4 - 5 months
